People cite this poem as a lesson that we should dare to take the uncommon path, but actually, in context, Frost is conjecturing about a future moment in which he will realize that this minor, insignificant choice, in retrospect, will turn out to have been a significant one after all. In the moment of the poem, however, he hasnt yet experienced the consequences of his decision, and he doesnt say one way or the other, because he cannot, whether his choice has turned out to be a wise one. #justsaying
