So a customer of Nick & Tonis named Barbara Feldman posted on Facebook last night that she thinks the food at Nick & Tonis is inedible. I proceeded to share her post with the public and commented on her post. I guess since she Originated the post she could delete it with all associated comments. I find interesting that she deleted my post if In fact thats the case. Although I cant remember my exact response I will try to reproduce it. My first thought was to let it go but I cant, what she did was not nice mean spirited and needed to be responded to so here is my response: Barbara, I knew there was a reason why I didnt accept your friend request but I just did so I could respond to your insensitive comment. For you to request to be my friend and then have the desire to publicly lambast my restaurant is reason enough to u friend you as soon as I finish my reply. Now to your comment. I believe your current job is staging homes that are for sale. Needless to say that requires a sense of style. Style as you are aware is a matter of taste. If I entered a home that you staged and I didnt like the style in which you decorated it I would never go on Facebook to publicly say that your style was the worst I had ever seen whether or not you were my friend. I am not upset for myself as I know the source, but I am upset for the people that work very hard day in and day out at Nick & Tonis. Nick & Tonis is going to celebrate its 27 year this August and I venture to say if the food was inedible as you described our demise would have been met long ago. I think it is best that you find another restaurant to at rather than to continue to complain about everything all the time. As an aside please find the following recipe which is not exactly ours but does call for 1/2 stick of butter. Maybe next time you order a Piccata dish you should be aware that it had butter and a lot of butter in it.
