So after leaving Louisiana at 9pm in the pouring rain and storms last night, we have a flat in Slidell, Louisiana about 2 am-ish. I called my road side assistance with State Farm and all I can say is that is ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!! The call center completely dropped the ball last night/this morning and basically told me after dispatching two different wreckers, that there was no one who could come help us. Even when I asked if they reached the highway patrol or local sheriffs department, the answer was they couldnt reach them. Ummmmm hello!!!!! State Farm road side assistance left me, Riley and 6 kids on the side of the road and they were sure sorry! ( insert sarcasm) THANKFULLY two highway patrol officers came to help us out, but not before Jose on you tube taught us how to lower my spare tire. So we had a jump on it when the Calvary arrived. Much thanks to the two Louisiana Highway Patrol officers who got us back on the road, NO THANKS to my State Farm roadside assistance team!!
