So, after receiving a handful of fancy new toys and other items for Christmas our 4 year old decided it would be nice to donate some stuffed animals and other toys to kids who dont have a lot. (Way to go Mom and Dad! We rock) After doing some research, however, it seems most hospitals, charities and other foundations only want New items. I get it, dust, smells etc... are not great for sick kids. There has to be somewhere? So, if you know of a place to donate some kids stuff other than profit companies like Goodwill or thrift stores please chime in! Happy New Year.
