So due to the lovely Sabra Guzmán having to rest up for a whole bunch of gigs this week with The Get Rights, I will be sitting in on todays Around This Town. That means in addition to a visit from Kathryn Caine Ogden around 4:30 pm (edt) to chat about the Kathryn Caine & The Small Band CD Release Party @ The Southern this Friday night, and then Bill Adams stopping by around 5:15 to chat about his Bill Adams concert this Saturday afternoon at Albemarle CiderWorks (and then at the Blue Moon Diner in two weeks), I will get to play some music from Ragged Mountain String Band, Alex Caton & Dick Harrington The Infamous Stringdusters, Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer, Nora Jane Struthers (who will be stopping by WTJU Folks Jumpin on the Bed this Saturday afternoon before Nora Jane Struthers & the Party Line + Ragged Mountain Stringband @ the Southern 3/15), The Stray Birds, Jason Ring (who will be at South Street Brewery tonight), Love Canon, Jim Waive, and perhaps even some of the artists who will be performing at The Prism Coffeehouse pre-opening concert this Sunday afternoon.
