So excited... three shoots to go and i am done for 2014! That might sound totally crazy given its only October, but it isnt... one of the hardest things i find is juggling my calendar... i need to always take into consideration that a clients due date isnt just one date, its actually a block of 2 weeks either side as they may come early, or may come late... In order for me to take a family holiday in November, i have to not take on any bookings for due dates 3 weeks before and another 2 weeks after... if i didnt do this and a baby was born early or late, i cant uphold my guarantee of a session place under 14 days of age... and this is so important to me, to be able to promise and keep this for my clients. So while it sounds crazy that now only in October i am saying i am almost done for 2014, i have had to block out 8 weeks of my diary in order to actually only take 3 for holidays... I have only three sessions to go, all newborns, two of which are born and one any day now... so come the first week of November, that is 2014 wrapped up for me! In saying that though, it doesnt mean that i stop working full stop, i am sure there will still be plenty of admin work, tutorials to watch, online resources to read etc etc. I can not wait for 2015 now... so much stuff in the pipeline, lots of bookings already in the diary too... Mwah! x
