So happy I managed to get to Soulfest yesterday. Saw some truly incredible performances and had a beautiful time with my crew in the sunshine (well, for a while at least). Angie Stone and Musiq Soulchild killed it. Mos Def showed up, which in itself was impressive and surprising. Common put on one of the best Hip-Hop performances Ive ever seen. Total benchmark rap-god shit. Then DAngelo serenaded us and Im sure half the crowd got laid last night as a result. My soul started Monday well-nourished to say the least.
