So just know hearing that Walnut Creek is going to get a police officer at their schools starting in the fall. I believe that Brentwood has grown so much and I feel with the latest issues it could actually be good for the community and the students. Sure the students may act differently , but the officers are there to protect and educate also. This could really take pressures off administrators , we all were young once and Wanted to get out of class and maybe go meet in the halls or bathrooms. If a police officer made their presence not only in passing period but just for the students to know they could come to them if they had questions or concerns I think we could have more of our students making better choices and wanting to be at school to focus on learning. We all know everything is about $ but where do our priorities Lye? When it comes to our kids!!! We can find the money Walnut Creek did... Just way too many pressure on these kids at such a young age..
