So just spoke with GI Dr here at Oakland Childrens. Alecs bile duct is obstructed of unknown cause. His Gall Bladder does not appear to have stones so they feel it is not a stone blocking the bile duct. They also feel his Pancreas looks abnormal. They want him to undergo a procedure that is very specialised and the GI Dr that is the expert in this test is at UCSF. They will transfer him tonight and procedure will be tomorrow. Alec continues to show no signs that he is sick. He is energetic, mischievious and giggly as always, but his blood work and urine continue to be the outward signs that something is going on. I was commended today for gettting him in before he was really sick, things like this can go bad fast. I am frustrated, stressed and tired. I have not been able to let my wrist that I had surgery on heal. This sucks ass and I just want them to figure out what is going on.
