So let me get this straight. These challenges floating around here are to AVOID donating to a charity?!? For a disease that KILLS people? So what, you dont have a hundred dollars but you have money for smart phones, for internet, and for whatever else...and youre pouring ice water over yourselves to get out of donating to a charity? Where is the logic in this? Why not challenge people to donate even $5 or whatever they can afford to a charity of your choice instead of being cheap assess and doing stupid stunts? What if someone you loved had one of these life threatening diseases or had died from one? Id hope you wouldnt be encouraging people to AVOID donating! And for your information, my mothers father died of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease when she was 10 years old. If there had been a cure I may have known my grandfather and my mother would not have had to grow up without her daddy. Think about that before you get challenged to avoid parting with your precious money...and if you truly cant afford to donate money, why not give blood? Thats free. Or hell, donate plasma...they PAY YOU for that! Do something to help others rather than being so selfish. Or if you still want to put ice water on your damn fool heads please dont say youre doing that to avoid helping a charity. Thats just selfish and sad.
