So my fellow sentient beings, you may be asking. Why Hound? - TopicsExpress

So my fellow sentient beings, you may be asking. Why Hound? why after so long of being rather silent and virtually undetected by the page do you decide to raise voice and cube to the occasion? Well my fellow readers, there is no real rhyme or reason aside from having imbibed a bit. Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, sents of all makes, models, and what not. I believe that the few small alterations that Im going to either imply or suggest here in the next few posts really could have saved the arguments. I will of course need to draw upon the experiences of other genres and other franchises that have done something with a modicum of success to their mentioned alterations, so heres number one. Hellboy, the movie made by Guillermo Del Toro that has gained a cult following and, lets face it, when it comes to the box office, is no where near the power house that pretty much any action or supernatural movie has pulled off in the past three years, but its successful for another reason. In the first movie, there is a scene where the agent picks up a comic book, and in a state of shock and awe, we are camera panned to the real Hellboy whom happens to be grooming in the mirror. At this very pivotal point there is one phrase that is spoken, I hate those things, they never get the eyes right. This statement, coupled with the introduction bring us from the comics to the silver screen, it literally says, Forget what you know, this is different. If Michael Bay had managed to make some form of gesture in his first movie with this little nugget, his own little: Forget everything you know, only the names are the same. This would have been a viable first step. ☆Hound☆
