So, my partner and I have just finished our second week of eating meat-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, sugar-free and caffeine-free. Before now my partner had suffered with terrible gut problems. Ill spare you the ins and outs - no pun intended - but suffice to say that it has been a huge problem for him for years. He said the problem has vastly improved since starting week 2 of this diet. Now last night we were both feeling really lazy and gluttonous so we made a pizza for dinner as a treat, and today he said the problem has started again. His instinct is telling him its the wheat (there really wasnt much cheese on the pizza) which I think is likely as he always used to eat loads of crappy wheat laden foods, and I think this has been the first time hes ever tried to cut it out. My question is, how is best now to go about finding out what exactly is the problem? Im tempted to do another 2 weeks of this diet, then maybe experiment by reintroducing things one by one and seeing what has an effect. Any advice would be great, thank you :-)
