So my roommate, Dominic, filed a complaint with the Department of Building Inspection. So now I have to explain that to the landlords. Hopefully, everything works out okay. And after talking to counselors at San Francisco Tenants Union, the Rent Board and people who have had asshole roommates that they had problems with, I have decided that it is on. No more miss nice guy. I just got rid of my workplace bully, Im not going to be bullied in my own house. I had to be relatively nice at work, because my job was on the line. But at home, I am not bound by the same rules of conduct. The same laws that make it perfectly legal for him to act like a jackass apply equally to me. If dude wants a war, he can have one.
