So on this night in 1987, the coolest bar in town was Cafe Berlin. And on that night, I held a party to say goodbye as I moved to London the next day, WC1 to be precise. A massive step into the unknown to a 19yr old lad. I shit meself. My dad and brother dropped me off, and as I watched the car drive off up Guilford Street without me, I thought what have I done. Turns out what Id done was sign up for one of the best experiences of my life. I did a lot of growing up down there, in a fantastic location, surrounded by some amazing people. Bloomsbury will always live large in my heart. I came back to Liverpool a very different person, and Im really proud of the lessons I learned. Boss.
