So school starts tomorrow and that means getting back up early and all that jazz. Its the time to get back to social lives for those that didnt have one during the summer. School is actually a great place. Yes it can be more then just learning. You have multiple social opportunites and academic doors start to open. Heres a word of advice to this years new batch of freshman. Just because you spent 8 years working to get to high school doesnt mean that you can just slack off for the first year or two and expect everything to be fine. Your grades will drop your gpa will drop and there will be things you dont get to do because of that. Your future is determined on how well you do in high school. You can have a social life while being a good student just balance it out and dont get involved with anything that will not help you. trust me the hard work will pay off in the end. Also i really hope you memorized where your class room is because our hallways get crazy and lets just there are people who dont have the patience to help you or to have stop traffic flow so to advoid drama find someone you know that knows there way around the school and stick with them. Also their are always those individuals who make freshman jokes just ignore them life moves. Also dont act like you are big tough guy who rules the school. Thats one way to get everyone to hate you. Also dont expect to get your way with the teachers depending on who you have they can be stubborn so i suggest you always use the bathroom before class if you can be some of them will not let you go during class no matter what the excuse you have. Also dont spend too much time playing around before your next class because you have a certain amount of time to get to your next class and you dont want to start off your year with a detention. Now they most likely wont do that the first couple of days but after the first week they will. For academic success i encourage you to come to school frequently because the more days you miss you will fall behind very quickly. Teachers do not have time to teach you a whole couple days of lessons while trying to keep the class up to date. If your teacher gives you homework i advise you do it because it makes school a whole lot easier. Its best to do it the night before the next day of school because it takes of stress and youre not rushing to do it right before class and mostly likely get most of the things wrong. Also if you do have unfinished work it wise to use any extra time to do it during that time. The best way to keep your night homework free and free to do whatever is to do as much of it you can during bonus period. Bonus period is like cap class. You have the opportunity to finish things and do homework but i have to warn you that some of the teachers do use that time for class room stuff so depending on you have on that certain day you may or may not have that chance but i would say 80% of the time you will. Now here is some social advice. ADVOID PETTY DRAMA. i dont care if you dont like that guy or girl. What they do is none of your business as what you do is none of theie business. If you keep to your self and advoid trouble your life while be fine. Now i realize some people like to talk alot of bs and spread rumours around. Just ignore it because that person has nothing going on in their life so they result to trying to meddle in someone elses . They are fishing for your attention so dont give to them. Now this is just my advice so its up to you wether want to consider that or not. Im just trying to help. Also i would encourage to let people be who they want to be and dont bully anyone or anything thats not cool that just makes you an ass in my opinion though its still your choice if you listen to it or not. Now i hope this was helpful . I hope you have a good year at school and i hope like the tips thati gave to help you surrvive high school . Wether you listen to it or not is your choice. Im just speaking from experience. A lot freshman complain that none of the higher classes help them and just make fun of them. Just that yeah your are going to run into people who dont care about helping and people who do. So here you go Im helping lol but anyway see everyone at school tomorrow.
