So something I am wondering... I cant decide if I just tend to buck trends or if I really just pick what I like best. Particularly for this discussion I am wondering on bi-pods. I primarily use the Versa-pod system. I do have some cheap Harris copies on a couple rimfire guns, but for all my centerfires I run Versa. 1) I like the design, they seem solid, with a good mount. While I have yet to shoot much past 300 (finding a range/place to shoot that far in the forest hills of KY is not easy. 2) I like that I can buy just the forearm adapter and in 3 seconds move the legs from one rifle to another. This saves me money because even if I take 2 or 3 guns to the range, I still can only shoot one at a time. I never seem to see any chatter about Versa-pods it is nearly 90%+ all Harris, with a few random brands thrown in, most of those are on rifles running a chassis instead of a traditional stock. Just wondering if it is just marketing success on Harris part or what.
