So the other day I was at a Bible study. I was upset to find out that a friends daughter, who is a medic the military, had to buy her own med bag. Its over $200 just for the bag not counting the supplies! My point isnt to complain about the government but to show an example of what it is to be Gods hands and feet. Right then and there we took up an offering and collected just about enough for the bag. Why cant the church be like this more often. We need to take care of our own! It didnt take a pastor getting involved or a church commity meeting. It took a dozen or so caring Christians who wanted to do what God commands us to to do, help those in need. To be His hands and feet. It was simple but it meant a lot to me.
