So this is really happening. I am in flight over North America on my way to London. Yes, London, England! It is just now sinking in that I will be on the ground in the UK at noon Thursday. And I will be participating in an amazing course with some really great people from around the world. I am promised breakthroughs in self-expression beyond the conventional patterns to which I have become accustomed. Sounds intriguing, right? When I packed this morning, I felt like I was preparing for the biggest job interview of my life. I couldnt figure out what to pack, what to wear on the flight, what to eat or what to drink for breakfast. It is funny to be so engaged in what I am doing. I missed the sports update on KBOW, and I rarely miss that. And the radio was on! I had the honor of hanging at the Sky Room in Salt Lake City airport with my buddy Dave Curry, a Diamond flyer. (I am a mere Silver flyer.) We had a great conversation and l learned that he loves the details and I love the vision and creation! I cant wait to see how we collaborate on some cool projects! New future there! When I got some British pounds at the airport bank, it hit me. This is not just another trip. It is a big damn deal, as my pals John and Courtney would say. This time, I am really going to London! Mostly, I look forward to the opportunity to create, to play, to collaborate, and to learn. You may not recognize me when I get finished. Heck, I may not recognize me. And that is okay. The Plot Twist is underway and I welcome it. I look forward to it. I embrace it. This? This is what I call living. Come on!!!
