So today I got really depressed after the fallowing incident I juts had to share it cause just wow. So I was telling my dad about how multiple state are passing measures to hold a constitutional convention to get money out of politics and he tells me about how one state people are talking about splitting it in 2 over a high capacity magazine ban (limits it to only 10 rounds). So I being me think of it logically as well if 1 maybe 2 guys try to bust into your house 10 bullets should be enough to scare them off or drop them, turns out this bit of logic was bad cause he said no no you need it to protect yourself what if another country invades us and I literally just said without pause I am sure the military has the kinda hardware you would need for that. This really got him angry and he eventually went on about how if we give up our clips soon they will take more and we will end up in a dictatorship like China where we are limited to how many kids we can have and how much food we can get basically generic right wing fear mongering. I stood there literally frozen just thinking wtf is he smoking before just walking away, note when he was referring to these big bad communist countries he was talking about the social democracies of Europe which are known to have some of the happiest, healthiest, people in the world. Then he has the nerve to say I am brainwashed and stupid.....that last part hurt bad. Anyway that is all for now I am gonna go do something to calm me out like slaughter all of humanity with a deadly virus.....or farming.....see ya.
