So today, the wee hooligan and I ventured into the forest, and I thought Hey! We should check out the fort that my younger son told me he and his friends are working on. I assumed that this would be an on-the-ground fort made of tree branches and what-not. Imagine my surprise when I came across a two-level fort about 10-15 feet up in a tree. No walls or guard rails of course. Nooo, 13 year old boys wouldnt think of those! Just pallet-platform thingies precariously perched in the tree, calling for someone to fall off them and break their neck. Kinda wishing I could un-see that. There really are some things that youre just better off not knowing.
