So tomorrow I will embark on my new training regime, based around the Olympic lifts (minus the snatch until I get properly coached on the movement, but I will add the kettlebell variant). This will be something quite different to what Im used to with increased volume, different movement patterns and a more athletic approach to training. Its important to try different avenues of training so that your body will gain experience and your nervous system will create and learn new neural pathways. Has anyone performed Olympic lifts? If so what were your best lifts? How did you find them? How were you taught? If you havent performed the lifts, would you be interested in learning?
