So, when Mariah turned 13 we were both very excited because among other things it meant that she could be my guest at the gym and I could go more often! So last Sunday we went and in addition to the treadmill and elliptical she wanted to work the weight machines. I probably put a little too much weight on them to lift, and was a little sore but mostly okay afterward. Then, Thursday morning, after Rotary, I grabbed the two wire crates filled with childrens books that I was donating to New Bethany. They were heavy, but I didnt think much of it. Friday at work I felt sore, and worse as the day went on. By Saturday night, I was visibly hurting, so after (somehow!) dragging myself to church to play the service, I went home to a heating pad and bed rest, along with some pain meds. Stayed there all day yesterday, and thought I was feeling better, but by the time I completed my hour commute into work today, I was feeling awful again! So, home I went at noon-another painful hour in the car-and straight to the dr. Now Im back to bed rest til at least Friday and girded with $100 worth of muscle relaxants and pain meds (good thing the script card covered it all!) So, if you need me, here Ill be! Thats apparently what I get for trying to be healthier and help others!! Lol (JK)
