Soaked to the skin, I got caught out by a few beauties of waves and 2 small whiting to show for my troubles, I think the weather won this one today, the force of the waves, head on wind and the water around the spot we were fishing was brown, a lot of sand and weed being kicked up from the bottom Im guessing,usually crystal clear, a major pity because the mark we fished today has thrown up 5 species and a couple of hundred fish over the last 4 visits, I had huge hopes for a full moon high tide combination especially with a tide of over 4.3 meters although with the waves it felt like 8 meters. I have to admit Im completely stumped, so pissed off I left before the tide turned which is normally the best time to fish the mark.... One bad day for the last few months, I hope everyone elses day has gone a bit better.
