Soap Box Rant: The Road Traffic Act of 1988 states that it is an offence to walk your dogs off lead on the public highway. They must, by law, also visibly display your contact details on their collar. Please, if you care anything for your beloved dogs do not trust them to obey you if there is an exciting distraction on the opposite side of the road. For their own safety keep them on lead by the roadside, too many dogs are needlessly killed on the road.
