Some House-Cleaning Notes from the West Fork Wharf: Weve added some items to our menu. Rockwell Jrs and Wharf-Shrooms are two new players. Rockwell Jrs are mini deep-fried versions of our Rockwell(reuben) sandwich, Wharf-Shrooms are our own creation of deep-fried mushrooms, except these are really good. We take a portabella mushroom, the best shroom out there, and coat it with our own light breading then deep-fry it. If you like deep-fried mushrooms, you are going to more-than-like Wharf-Shrooms. Weve also added some options to our Hawk Burger. The Hawk Burger is our signature cheeseburger and dedicated to our Warhawks. We now have the original Hawk Burger and three different options to it. Theyre all outstanding and unique. We now offer a Caesar Salad with our entrees or as a stand-alone. Youll notice that weve gone to Market Pricing on some of our selections. This was by necessity. Fluctuations in the price of some items, mostly meat and shrimp, have caused some prices to go up. Market pricing enables us to be nimble when prices change, and we promise, when prices go down, our prices will go down also. A reminder: We dont take reservations on the lounge side of The Wharf, but we do create a waiting list when we need to. If all the tables are full on the lounge side, we establish a waiting list. Whoever is at the top of the list gets the next table available if it fits their needs. We hope you will be understanding and patient with this. Last thing: Were starting to schedule Holiday Parties.
