Some musicians who visit Broadmeadows Detention centre regularly are running an awesome fundraiser to raise money to allow them to go more often but also have an event to show the refugees that they have local support. It is today March 30th at Brunswick Bowling Club. There is an awesome line-up of bands and musicians, the Gumbo Truck, jumping castle, face painting, bowling club bar prices for drinks. $10 entry, $30 for families, (kids under 12 free) Jane Garrett is coming to speechify and will broadcast it at the rally tomorrow, Abdi Aden (Go Back to where you came from) is also going to speak as he was in Broadmeadows.
