Some of you were curious about my ambulance visit while I was in Las Vegas recently. Well, Diana Nyad sent me to the ambulance. As the 64 year old female swimmer told the story of how she become the first person to make the swim from Cuba to Florida, I found myself relating to parts of her story and overwhelmed with emotions. She didnt complete her goal on the first attempt. It took her over 30 years and 5 attempts to reach her goal. Her own team didnt even believe it was possible on that fifth attempt. It is truly amazing what we are capable of doing when we simply choose to NEVER GIVE UP! You either sit at the sidelines and watch others take action, wondering what you may have been capable of doing OR you get your booty off of the sidelines and WORK that booty off in unrelenting pursuit of your dreams. #makeithappen #nevergiveup #nyad #coachsummit2014 #diananyad #carldaikler
