Some people have started struggling with their praying mats after neglecting them for a whole year without good reasons. They have been warming up for the month of Ramadan trying to stretch their mats, but the mats keep folding up-back with anger. Only God knows who is going to win the battle. For how long would you continue to pray only in the month of Ramadan because of the ruling that no fast is acceptable without the five (5) daily prayers? If you can observe your solat fora whole month perfectly and uninterruptedly, you should be able to pray a whole year unhindered. Please go and know that apart from the fact that solat is the first thing Allah would question us about on the Day of Judgment, the Prophet says it is the key to Aljannah. Therefore, brothers and sisters in Islam, let us not joke with our prayers during this glorious month and beyond. May Allah grant us the zeal and ability to observe our prayers properly at the appropriate times. May He also accept them from us as an act of ibaadah. A@min
