Somebody came to my house today while I was away and my son told me about it. The man was large in size and wearing a white coat, tie, and fancy looking pants but drove an older model family car. He had a piece of paper and my son said he looked nervous so he stayed out of sight when the car pulled up and the man walked to our door and knocked. My dogs went nuts barking and growling inside my home, just like they are trained to do, and he left. I live in literally the middle of nowhere (not a subdivision), there was no reason for this person to be here and they left no business card, etc. My son was very scared...hes heard my warnings about crime in this town since I read almost every post on this page. He did exactly as he has been trained to do also, but my question now is what do I do?! Im scared my place has just been cased for theft or violence. Do I call the police based on what little info I have thats secondhand? What do these people want? Those that have posted about similar activity- do the strangers come back?
