Someone said, No, dont discuss your vision with people. Just go - TopicsExpress

Someone said, No, dont discuss your vision with people. Just go about it and let it speak for itself. It is true. I agree. The Bible says the vision is for an appointed time... and that it shall speak at the end... it will not lie. Amen. What about the place of writing the vision... and making it plain... so that he that reads it will run with it? Thats what the Bible says... to write it and make it plain. Amen for that too. Few days ago before I went into hybernation, I had an interesting and eye opening discussion with a dear brother here on facebook. I met him just about a month ago. I was even the one who sent him a request after reading his comments twice or thrice on a friends post and sensing substance in him. He accepted my request and asked if we had met and where. Told him No. Now, this brother started asking me about what I do on facebook, if I have other platforms and what exactly my vision is. I explained to him the way I could at that period. But he kept asking questions... questions that got me thinking ....questions that at a point got me almost annoyed and we got into argument. He insisted I have not gotten it right. I told him I know what I am doing. He suggested I do some more work on the vision and started pointing out what he feels I have not gotten right. In my mind, I was like, hey bro, who do you think you are? Holy Spirit or what? I started telling him I know what I heard and even backed it up with scriptures and feedback I had been getting. He insisted. It got to a point I said something with the intention to get him annoyed and off my neck but in polite manner. This brother refused to be annoyed. He even made a joke of it. He said, I know I am dealing with a woman, so I am not annoyed. At that point I knew God might be the One trying to get me to a place where I go back to the drawing board. I thanked this brother and admitted to him my need for time to think and meditate on our discussion. I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it... - Hab.2:1,2 My name is Abimbola Tayo-bamidele. I am called to be a Deborah in my generation ...and to raise Deborahs after my kind... and ultimately, after Jesus. I am still in the process of growing, developing, learning and becoming ... But I am not going to wait till I get there. There is no time. I will not bury the one talent I have been given just because it looks so small when compared with someone with five talent. I am going to start killing the bears and the lions.... in preparation for the slaughter of Goliath... and we are going to start together. We shall grow together in our various callings; we are not going to sit and rut. We are not going to rush and crash. We shall learn. We shall practise. We shall grow. We shall teach. My call is to the women-folk - singles, married, young and old alike. It shall get clearer by the day... and the path shall shine brighter as we move. Amen. Amen. Amen. Regards, friends. Happy weekend...
