Sometimes I think this should be posted on the back of all church programs in bold red letters.......Church etiquette 101 1. If you are on program, please only do what you are assigned to do.( if asked to read the scripture just read the scripture. You dont have to give a sermonette neither do you have to sing before or after). If called to pray please just pray. Please keep in mind when asked to bless the offering or the food that the invocation has already been done. 2. No walking durning prayer, the sermon or alter call. 3. No socializing during the offering. It is a part of worship. (Meet and greet should occur before and after church). 4. If you have an unruly child or a child who is excessively crying please be considerate of others who are trying to enjoy the worship experience by escorting your child to the outside until the issue has been resolved. 5. Please do not approach the man or woman of God before service with gossip, fleshly conversations or things that could be handled by others in leadership who may not be about to bring the word. 6. If you have not been anointed or appointed to work the alter please sit down and pray from your seat. You will only be in the way. (keep in mind the devil knows who you are and what youre working with.) DONT get whipped up trying to prove a point. Know your lane! 7.Do not enter another Preachers pulpit without prior consent by the Pastor or his or her known ministerial staff/team. 8. No cussing, fighting or smoking on church grounds. 9. Please remove all candy rappers, programs and excessive paper before leaving the sanctuary. 10. Please be willing to move over so that someone else may be seated. ( the only assigned seats should be those of leadership, specific Boards such as Deacons, Mothers etc, choir, and special guest which should be marked as reserved. 11. Two selections is two selections not three ( know your math). Train your people! ORDER IN THE HOUSE!!! I pray you enjoy your worship experience on tomorrow. #PurposeDriven
