Sometimes something stops you in your tracks and the absolute - TopicsExpress

Sometimes something stops you in your tracks and the absolute horror of 800 babies being dumped into a septic tanks is that something for me. I cannot get my head around these so called religious people. It is so cold, inhumane, callous and uncaring. We must have a full enquiry into EVERYTHING that happened in those institutions and those in power must be held to account. Also, if found guilty, they then must be held equally financially accountable with the state who in many incidents put the men, women and children in their. The deal done by Bertie Ahern that left the state (us) responsible for 90% of the financial compensation must never happen again. The church is a very wealthy institution and must be held accountable! Finally it was reported today that theres a Dáil record from 1920s which outlined the fears about the high level of infant mortality and yet nothing was done. It is utterly shocking and shameful.
