Sometimes...sometimes a musician takes to the stage and it becomes immediately obvious, to those who have eyes, that this musician is having a spiritual experience. The words the musician is sharing with us have entered the musicians body as mere words and exit the musicians mouth as a transcendent prayer and we as the witness, the listener, are humbly being invited to join in prayer. Hallelujah! We, of course, have the freedom to reject or embrace this most holy invitation. However, a rejection of the prayer invitation does not decrease the power nor the beauty of the invitation nor of the prayer itself. Hallelujah! Here, Matisyahu invites us to join him in prayer.
