Soon to head home and reflecting on my short time spent in Bermuda. Theres much to be grateful for and many lessons learned. Ive had a chance to speak with/learn from young people, religious leaders, government officials, media personalities, police, and moms/dads/sisters/brothers in private meetings and public forums. And it is exciting to watch communities break down walls of separation and honor differences. Thanks to the Bermuda Human Rights Commission, US Consulate Generals office in Bermuda, and Sara Clifford & Zakiya Johnson Lord, specifically, for making my visit possible. And thank you to Junior Burchall, Shari-Lynn Pringle and so many new friends for making me feel at home and okay. Next up, Brooklyn.
