A true virtuoso his ability to improvise and embellish the rhythmic patterns of Arabic music as well as his knowledge of ethnic musical history make him one of the most highly acclaimed performers and instructors of our day. for more info on Souhail visit neareastmusic DRUMMERS & DANCERS.....Announcing Souhail Kaspars new drum class format : LEARN, JAM & DANCEDrummers will learn Egyptian tabla (doumbek) techniques and rhythms AND will be given the opportunity to create solos for a dancer the last 15 minutes of each class.Dancers will learn rhythms AND will be able to dance to drum solos the last 15 minutes of the class. You may learn the rhythms by hand clapping, Egyptian tabla or frame drum.Have a blast and Join Souhail for this unique learning experience.Session series starts Saturday October 26th 2-5pm and Sunday October 27th 11-2pm with a middle Eastern style Costume Halloween Parti JaM for the Drummers and the Dancers of the event. Cost is $60.00 a day or $100.00 for both days.
