Soweto Bank is a financial services cooperative based in Diepkloof, that is aspiring to become a commercial bank in future. The cooperative was started by previously disadvantaged individuals(PDIs), so we are inviting members to come on board and join us to drive this initiative together of establishing a first bank owned by community, blacks in particular. So for us to achieve our goal Government require to be 200 minimum in membership, raise R100,000 minimum in share capital with atleast a history of 12 months in existence. We have developed a plan and strategy to meet those requirements any member who is interested to join or invest in our bank is required to contribute R50 and subcribe annualy for R600 but devided in monthly instalments of R50 per months for 12 months.
