Speaking from experience: I recently won a discrimination settlement against the federal government (Ridgell vs. Astrue)because my supervisor made racial remarks and tried to ruin my career because she did not like people of color. I won a $60,000 settlement and had my record expunged. I have to wonder how many careers or oportunities were runied by the prejudice mentatlity of Paula Deans. Racism usually goes deeper than words.
