Speaking of Life Is a Rock... McDonalds, in 1988, had a contest on flexidisc where if you heard a group of singers sing its menu song (based on the Reunion song) without any problems, youd win a million dollars. Only one person with the flexidisc would be the winner, though (that winner was Charlene Price in Galax, Virginia). The rest would all get some twisted tongues (in other words, the menu song not sung all the way through). Not sure how we received the record (mightve been through newspapers), but ours was not the winner. Here is that record for reference.
