Speaking of videos... An alarming - ALARMING!!! - :-) - number of my Facebook family and friends told me over the past few weeks that the couldnt access my tribute video from the 2014 Pennsylvania League of Women Voters Civic Leadership Award event at Philadelphias Union League. I thought Id posted it...but Ive spent a lot of time delirious and/or in Havana lately, so... So...here it is again. Again, grateful, gracious and gargantuan thanks to the films brilliant director and transcendent interviewer, Palmer Enfield; thanks to Jody Lang Bender , Susan Meehla Carty and the PA LWV and its local Philadelphia chapter for putting on a magnificent event; thanks to Ed Rendell and David L. Cohen for agreeing to appear in the tribute film (but could not due to impossible scheduling difficulties), and ETERNAL THANKS to my loved and beloved friends and colleagues John J. Dougherty, Lynda Moore, Esq. and William Edward Parton for not only the kind things they said about me, but for also being individuals who mentor me, inspire me, hold themselves up to a higher standard, cajole me on necessary occasions, push me when called for, expect more from me, wont let me slack off and hold ME up to a higher standard. Its exceptional folks like David (my primary mentor), Bill (my seemingly life-long mentor), Ed, John and Lynda who have helped me see far beyond my own potential...and have been there for me every step of the way.
