Spent way over an hour and a half cleaning my boys cage today. Why did it take so long? Well, on top of them running all over me and not giving me any peace they knocked the spray bottle over the chewed a hole in it, meaning having to switch bottles, luckily I had an empty spare bottle. Then they kept running away with my kitchen paper. Then they decided it was dinner time when I pulled the tray out so had to wait till they were finished eating before I could clean the tray. Its exhausting work cleaning a degus cage. Phew. But then so much fun. Just to watch their antics, I really dont care how long it takes.
