Spooky was a roaming dog who escaped from a neglected home. She is very lucky the the neighbor of the man she walked up to is a tender hearted animal lover. Animal control was called and the lady offered to follow to the vet. Spooky had found her guardian angel because from then on, she was financially and medically taken care of. At the vets office, she was diagnosed as heart worm positive and needed to be dewormed for intestinal worms. She was also injured severely on her neck because she had been tied up so tied that it was embedded in her skin. Spooky had to have sutures and wound care and will need continuing care for her neck until it heals completely. She had also gotten a gash in her left armpit as well. Spooky is a very loving and sweet 1 1/2 year old female German Shepherd. She did not have a name so since she was rescued the day before Halloween, her angel named her Spooky. She has been medically boarded since that day, but has been transferred to a new vet in hopes for a second opinion and possibly more care. A fundraiser has been set up to help with her ongoing medical expenses. She needs your help to get the best care possible so she can start her rehab and get to her FURever home.
