(Spread the word!) The Center for Civic Engagement is still accepting participants for their Winter ASB (Alternative Service Break) to Fresno, California. The Winter ASB trip to Fresno, California will be focusing on immigration, citizenship, and the life style of migrant workers and their families. We will also be looking into alternative energy sources, particularly solar panels. To top it all off, there will be many sights seen on the way to California and back including the Rocky Mountains, Sierra Nevadas, Pacific Ocean, the Grand Canyon, and many others. The trip will be from January 1-10. If you are interested, please apply by December 5th at: involved-apps.unl.edu/a/Engage_App/ If we get 30 or more people, the cost of the whole trip will be $425, but if we get 40 or more people, the cost of the whole trip will be $350!!
