Steven Duty has had one more of a week! In more ways than one! Its ok to call out on Jesus, no matter what others may say or think! Not one of us are without reason to go thru any battle! Not any of us are set aside to suffer all the gastric diseases Steven or any one individual suffers! Not one of us or someone we love are to good to be dealt extreme illnesses... None of us can wake up with the same great health tomorrow. Until any of us are chosen or willing to walk thru tough tread in battle, not any of us have earned the right to understand what he or anyone battling chronic illnesses or any other major medical condition deal with on a daily basis! Steven is not the biggest guy physically that I know but what he is, is one of the strongest and most courageous men I know to deal with all he goes thru and has been going thru for the last six years! He deals with what hes been dealt the best and toughest way he knows how. I wouldnt last one month in his shoes and neither would many if we were honest about it. To live life without being able to live it would make us most of us bitter and lose our sparkle and shine! Not Steven!!! Yet he presses on and smiles! Giving God glory thru it all. When you are given chronic pancreatitis, gastroperesis and a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (there is NO cure for neither of the three), Id only imagine the life your not getting to live! Jesus is the only healer prescribed for Steven. I believe with all my heart Jesus can and will but if healing isnt in his will for Steven, as of now in science, there truly is no cure. I dont believe tho in science, what Steven and me both believe in is Jesus Christ... Depression? Yes Id be severe! Without God in my heart and going thru all Steven or anyone as sick as him faces, Im not even going to say I wouldnt consider suicide. Im just being brutally honest. Steven is as sick as someone dying with cancer without actually having it and hes battling these illnesses since 2008! Imagine the stomach virus times 5 on a daily basis and NEVER getting rid of it! Thats exactly how he lives life on a daily basis and to know theres NO cure! Yep!!! Id say with all the torment he lives with daily and brings to his life and yet to still smile, praise God and be kind,,, yeah Id say he deserves a Emmy! Maybe today Im somewhat aggravated! Im usually pretty positive on here but hey Im like everyone else and todays my day to rant just a lil. I promised God id stand by Steven and id do my best! Thats what Im doing! So forgive me if today I seem flustered, its because I am! Im human and Im allowed to have a bad day like anyone else! I praise God I still have Steven and that no matter what, thru this terrifying storm that as a couple we still praise Jesus name even on the darkest of days! Please lift my sweethearts name up to the Heavens in prayer! As his fiancé, if greatly appreciate it! May God abundantly bless was each of you!
