Stop Killing Cyclists media blitz Friday! We may not have won Cycling Champion but the Stop Killing Cyclists campaign still is getting lots of media attention. Wim Taubin who is promoting our November Protest amongst students and young people has agreed to be interviewed by Newsbeat tomorrow at site of our Elephant Die-In - as is James from Maidenhead who did the great graphics of our emergency safety plans for Elephant. Newsbeat have called me loads of times to pick my brain for a 15 minute special they are doing on young people and cycling. Wim agreed to get some young female cyclists to also speak Bart Chan has agreed to be interviewed by BBC 3 Counties about a new report coming out tomorrow. And I am up at 6am to do the 7am slot at BBC London Radio on same report. Good luck everybody - hope they all work out well and you do not get dropped - it sometimes can happen! 8-) A tip if you need one, I always try and think of two things I really want to say no matter what they ask! I nearly always want to get in the need to vastly increase spending on cyclingt o double Dutch levels so we can start catching up. £600 million is our target for London and £3 billion for UK annually.
