Storm Before The Calm! By Pastor Mike Blankenship We have all heard people talk about the calm before the storm. In the Kingdom of God the opposite is usually true. Adversity always surrounds the birth of your miracle. A crisis always takes place at the curve of change. In the Kingdom of God when one season comes to an end and a new season is being birthed, your enemy will always come against you. The battle is for your focus. His plan is to keep you from entering the future your Heavenly Father is moving you too. Let me encourage you to use your adversity to your advantage. Let it propel you into the place you are pressing toward. The reason for the attack is usually because your enemy has detected something good leaving the portals of Heaven in route to you. Many people do not understand why God would allow this season of warfare. I have found that every time The Holy Spirit wants to move me into a new season or to a new place in life, warfare is intensified. I believe one reason Your Heavenly Father allows this is because being uncomfortable where I am makes my decision for transition easier. I call it “Holy Discomfort.” Warfare is always for a reason. Warfare is always for a season. If the storms of life are raging against your life, take the time to consider the reason. When you start taking steps to fulfill your God-given purpose you will be opposed. Your enemy will not just roll out the red carpet and invite you to destroy his kingdom. However, the enemy always overplays his hand. His attack on your life often send a signal that you are on the right track. Your enemy would not waste his time, resources and energy on someone who is not making a difference. Set your face like flint. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Your Season Of Victory Is Just Ahead! “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries,” (1 Corinthians 16:9). Be Encouraged! Be Blessed!
