Storm chasing many years ago I was driving late one night and rescued a half dozen toads who were getting squished on the highway, bringing them home to live in the ponds in my suburban back yard. They thrived and each year I see new tadpoles and toadlets. Best of all the first warm night of spring is marked by the incredibly pleasant sound of toad music. I look forward to this annual rite of Spring and tonight is the night. I couldnt be happier! I wish everyone could enjoy this trill.
