Stuart Baxter: “The first 30 minutes were a total disaster for us. We allowed Orlando Pirates to settle and I never believe we could become so passive in a game of this magnitude. Our reaction was to panic. Pirates took full advantage of that by scoring an early goal. I felt that we came back strongly in the second half but we did not improve our decision making in the last attacking third. We have to pick ourselves up get back on our horses and be ready to fight in the second leg. Good teams respond to a defeat. It is a bitter pill to swallow losing against archrivals. The players in particular are very disappointed. This is football though and we have to focus on our next challenge. We started with Major because he understands how we play. My rationale was Knowledge (Musona) would be better for us as a team coming off the bench. He is settling in well and will do well for the team this season."
