Student Volunteer Opportunity Do you love music and art? Come volunteer this summer for HOTAfest 2013!! This summer Titusville Council on the Arts is proudly sponsoring the 3rd Annual HOTAfest. HOTAfest (The Heart of the Arts Folk Festival) is a three-day event for musicians and visual artists and features bluegrass, Irish Celtic, gospel, Scottish, civil war, folk, and mountain genres, along with hands- on visual arts workshops. The festival attracts artists and musicians from around the country. HOTAfest is quickly climbing to the top of folk music festivals in the area. The festival takes place in historic Titusville, PA, birthplace of the oil industry and consists of over 60 workshops led by professional artists and musicians. Highlights include: concerts by featured artist, hymn singing & jam sessions, contra dance, a musical petting zoo for all ages, and campfire sing-a-longs. The festival also attracts celebrated artists and features visual arts workshops for participants. Visit hotafest for more information. The planning committee is seeking volunteers for Friday, July 12 - Sunday, July 14 to assist in all aspects of the festival; greeting, check in, set up and more.
