Stuff you need to know for rehearsal on Tuesday and the parade on Remembrance Sunday: Rehearsal this week will be given over to rehearsing for the parade. If we have any time left over we will remind ourselves of some of the Christmas things for late-night-shopping. Regarding the Parade itself: We play at 10:35 so we need to be formed-up and ready to go by then. (the committee will confirm meeting place and time). Full uniform please including Bandorak. If you need to wear a hat; Black or Navy Blue please without any commercial logos. Regimental beret for ex-service personal if you so wish. We are not marching but we do need to move to the High Street at the conclusion of the service to play for the march-past. This we need to do as tidily as we can please with the minimum of fuss. We will be playing standing up so I prefer that we use lyres (all the music is in your flips) as stands a) will be problematical if its windy and b) become cumbersome when moving to the high street. Lastly, I have, as every year pulled out all the stops to try to find drummers. If anyone knows a drummer who can play a half-decent roll for the National Anthem please try to get them along. Regards Harry
