Stuffed French Toast with Apples 8 slices of bread 2-8 oz pkg of cream cheese 2 cups milk 1 dozen eggs 1 cup of maple syrup 3-4 peeled and thinly sliced apples 2 tablespoons sugar mixed with 2 tablespoons cinnamon The night before, place 4 cubed slices of bread in a greased 9x13 baking dish, cube cream cheese and put it on top of bread add remaking bread. In a separate bowl, add milk, 1 dozen eggs and syrup and mix it all up and pour it over your casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning top with a layer of apples, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. NOTE* do not use low fat cream cheese I add different fruit in season. Blueberries with the apples yummy!
